Going to Boston in August. Any suggestions on nice places to eat. I'm guessing lobster and crab are the speciality up there. Anybody have any past experiences?

Run a search and you'll pull up a few threads.

I don't care what anyone says, Union Oyster House is a cool place! But I'm pretty sure there's lots of material on this board if you search it, brotha!

Went to Abe & Louie's a few weeks ago...It was pretty good.

We stayed on Newbury Street (Newbury Guest House) and they had quite a few neat places within 2 blocks...Thanks to F&D Board help, went to Mr. Bartley's and had a great lunch...All of the places near Fenway where great. Cask and Flagon was pretty neat for before ball game festivities..

I thought this place was pretty cool. Oyster's were much more pricey than I (or anyone from La) was acustom to paying, but very good nonetheless...

Good. I really liked the place...old school...history. I don't mind being a tourist, and our meal was very good.

Mine too. Glad I went. Intersting place.

Food was solid....and as you mentioned, Chowder was excellent. Of the 3 i tried while there, theirs was best.
