Even with a down year for him, I would have thought he'd be drafted by now.

me too. I'm sure it will be motivation for him though to have a great year next season

yeah I am surprised I guess he had little to no sign-ability
lets hope he improves his stock next season.

Just surprised someone would actually think he isn't good enough to be drafted with the first 30 rounds

This happens alot:
The player tells the major league clubs how much money it will take to pull him out of school. The major league clubs decide that they aren't willing to match that demand yet. So instead of wasting a draft pick on a player that the club doesn't feel that they will be able to sign, the player ends up going undrafted, or falls way down the draft board.
I think this is probably the case for Austin Nola.

work harder, come back, win another title, and go out a legend.

our pitching should be pretty sick next year barring unforeseen injuries

yes it should, maybe we'll finally have some relief pitching with some of these guys coming in and a guy or two that was a freshmen this year

i think our starting pitching was good enough to go deep in the tourney this year. Bullpen needs more help. Anyone think Ott is gone?

We should have more than one LHP next year. Rittiner and Hopkins coming back from injury, plus the multiple ones we signed this year. Last year between Forrest Garrett and Chris Cotton, we had what amounted to about one lefty.
