what does the OB use to load a deer on your 4 wheeler. Been looking at several different things online but thinking about making my own.

I tend to get the front legs in my right hand and the back ones in my left. Squat and lift with the legs. Then strap it down and ride out with it. Never have used a hoist.

deer on belly, horns on foot pedal.. go to the other side, knees on seat, pull up on horns until about 1/3 of deer is across seat, and then torque it towards back rack..

I use a lift from good day manufacturing ,I use to lift all my deer as well until I bulged a disc in my lower back ,as a result i missed an entire deer season! The lift I use utilizes the winch to lift the deer because I do not want to live threw that type of pain again and the humiliation of not being able to dress myself again.

Been there. I might as well have been paralyzed. I've never used a winch/hoist to get them on the 4wheeler. I usually use the method already mentioned where you pull the deer up on to the seat from the opposite side and pull/roll them onto the back rack
