Ever hear of Whitman who coached at Louisiana College in Pineville? When he was coaching high school he won multiple state championships. Then he started LC's softball program and immediately they were contenders and won Christian school national championship within a few years. They moved up in classification and were constantly ranked in top 5. He is nothing but a winner. I think if he applies he would be excellent for LSU.

Why would she leave with all those reasons you gave? BECAUSE..............ULL strength of schedule(with or without playing the Flagship University of the state of Louisiana) will never be high enough for them to get a decent seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Who knows for sure? Only Joe Alleva. What would be nice is great hitting coach from Texas, Corrie Hill and pick up former LSU stand out Britni Sneed from Baylor as an awesome assistant coach/pitching coach. Current Houston coach and Oklahoma coaches would be awesome as well.

Also, Alyson Habetz is a Louisiana native and played for Coach Yvette Girouard at UL and has done well assisting Pat Murphy.

We desperately need hitting coach and somebody to keep our pitching staff strong. Losing 5 starters before the season began this year sure didn't help matters... but above all, our HITTING sucked and that is the area we need most improvement.
