I believe there was a deadline with a £14M price tag. Obviously it wasn't met. There are rumors that Liverpool will settle on a deal with Juventus, but they are only rumors. It should all be squared away soon. At least by the end of next week.

I for one hope Aqua comes back...he was put in to a bad situation w/LFC last year, but has been healthy a regular starter for Juventus this year.
He also offers a bit of creativity in the midfield...w/Juve signing Pirlo, he may not have a spot there. I hope we dont settle for some cut rate deal...

Pretty sure they missed the deadline. Like TFTC said, the signing of Pirlo makes it appear like Aquilani will be coming back.
Personally, I never grew fond of Aquilani and was looking forward to using the Juventus money on Charlie.
