Even if the competition is garbage it should still do a lot for these guys in terms of confidence.

Hamilton thus far has been one of our better players.

Yeah sounds like he's doing well. I'm hearing he has a post game unlike our other big men.
If O'Bryant and Hickey can come in and contribute there is a lot of potential for next year.

This. Winning, extra practice and team chemistry should hopefully do this team some good.

As I continue to say, I don't think O'Bryant will be a huge scorer initially, but I think he'll more than make up for that on the defensive end, rebounding, and shot blocking. Not to mention, even though the all-stars games aren't exactly ideal for a center prospect, he showed some ball skills that a guy like Malcolm White simply doesn't have.

playing these games together AND playing well is gonna do wonders for this team.
hamilton sounds like he may be a force inside. i can honestly say that i can't wait to watch the Tigers take the floor for their first game in the PMAC.

Meh. It will help chemistry somewhat that they're traveling and spending time together but beating up on some Italian scrubs 6 months before real games start won't mean a great deal in the long run IMO.

Sounds like as of right now our depth chart will look like this down low:
4. J. O'Bryant
5. J. Hamilton
---------------
1. S. Warren
2. M. White
3. G. Green
4. E. Ludwig
5. A. Del Piero
If nothing else we are incredibly deep in the post next year
4. J. O'Bryant
5. J. Hamilton
---------------
1. S. Warren
2. M. White
3. G. Green
4. E. Ludwig
5. A. Del Piero

I think it helps regarding getting Hamilton in the mix.

Hamilton averaged around 8 and 6 at Iowa State. he isn't anything special.

Some people just don't know how to be positive

Doesn't have to be special, nor did I think he was the silver bullet to our problems. But if he's better than what we had previously, which he appears to be, we'll be a better team. Not hard to understand, even for the most negative on the board.

calling him a force in the middle b/c he beats up on some Italian scrubs is just premature. sorry but that's reality. I expect Warren and O'Bryant to be the starting frontcourt in November.
