Just got the email from the athletic office saying that we can now begin to order away game tickets.

My question is, is there anyway to request tickets to be seated by a group of friends who are also getting student tickets, or are you just seated randomly?

TIA

They start giving tickets first come first serve a week before the game. If you wanna sit with friends you all have to get tickets at the same time

So how does this work? I've never requested away game tickets before. I got all the way to checkout and it said my total was 2$ for a request for 2 tickets. But it says they're 50$ each. Do you pick them up there and pay or what?

TIA

You just requested tickets, they're not guaranteed. If you're allotted tickets, then you'll be charged for them.

if you want to improve your chances of getting tickets, sign up for the TAF collegiate club. you get 2 student priority points

I get that, so you pay the 2$ now and if you get picked where does it go from there?
Do you pick them up in Dallas, or do they give them out somewhere on campus for you to pay beforehand?

And do graduating seniors have the best chance to get them?

Dude, they took your CC already...they are charging that CC when they determine who gets the tickets.

I think you will be able to pick them up at the LSU ticket office the week of the game. That's how it was last year with the chik fil a game. Also, if you're selected they just bill you from the card you used to pay for the request. And i believe priority is based on the amount of priority points you have.

Student priority points are per year and don't roll over. I.e. a incoming senior in the fall and an incoming sophomore who both went to 6 home games last season have the same amount of points.

And if you want to sit by your friends, they will send you an email when to get your tickets at the ticket office on campus. You all have to go together with your student IDs and then you will be seated together

I see Jerry Jones is trying to make a killing off of student tickets... up to $100 per ticket, geez. This is why I'm glad I won a student ticket to the Oregon game at one of the basketball games this past season

If I request 2 tickets can 1 of the tickets be used for a non-LSU student?

ETA: For the Oregon game

So I requested 3 tickets and the total was $3. But when the final page came up it still showed the final charge of $3 but it only listed the Alabama game. Did all 3 go through still?

Edit: Yep got the email, all went through.

I think you only have to show you are the student who requested them when you pick them up. Don't think they'll be tracking how you use the ohter ticket.

Just requested mine for Oregon!
Man this cannot come soon enough.

If awarded two tickets, one ticket must be used by the requesting student but the second ticket may be used by another LSU student or a non-student guest.

Did you people not read the email?

You'll find out when it gets closer where to pick them up at. I've had both at LSU's ticket office and at the site of the game before, so there's no way to tell right now.

And the student usually has to present the credit card they used to purchase them when picking up and must use one of the tickets. The other you're free to do with what you will
