Just curious who the second SEC champ was that Oregon lost to. In the last 20 years, I believe you will find Oregon is 3-1 against the SEC with Auburn being the only loss.

guess you missed in his point where he's saying in this hypothetical situation, oregon would have lost to LSU in dallas therefore having lost their last 2 matchups with SEC champs (also was assuming LSU won the SEC to have that LSU-UO rematch in the NCG)

It's better than that. Oregon is undefeated during the regular season vs SEC teams since 1977. That's 33 seasons.





Minor detail: After playing Georgia and LSU in 1977 we didn't have another SEC team on the schedule until 2002. That's mostly because Oregon stopped scheduling paycheck games.

Still, 3-1 is 3-1.
