I grew up there but have moved to Nashville. Should it be ok, my parents live near that drainage ditch by Jefferson.

I was talking with my parents and they said that ditch was going to rise. I'm sorry for being concerned about people I love you assholes.

so what qualifies them to day its going to rise?
nothing qualifies me to say it isn't going to rise... but i mean come on dude its like way out of the river system... i think the only way it goes up is with a heavy rain.

Baton Rouge doesn't drain into the Mississippi River.
