how about we do this....
We'll keep him on the team. He does have speed and quick agility. But, this is the way we treat his skills. He takes the league average for 2nd string running backs. From there all extra money is based on statistics such as yards and touchdowns. This is all the proof that you need that he not worth anywhere close to what he is being paid.

Well then do the same for all the running backs...
Anyone who knows anything about Saints football knows that a Sean Payton offense will not have a running back that puts up big stats.
Also, I don't know anyone pro-Reggie that believes he deserves 11.8 mil this year. That's not even an argument.

Yeah man I've been lurking around...I gave the NFL the cold shoulder for a couple months while they work out their problems... But the draft got me all jacked up again.

Somewhat agree. I think he def. needs to stay. Give him a base of like 3-5 million. And then load it down with performance based incentives. If he think he deserves big money, he needs to produce to get it.

Uhh easy people who sit on their couches while he is busting his arse out there. Doesn't that make sense? It's been happening since he got here.
Who do Mickey Loomis and Sean Payton think they are keeping and cutting players? What do they know? The people that say Reggie is worthless actually watch games from their couches! I think our front office and coaches should start realizing that these people know more than they do. I mean what do they know they just spend every day around the guy watching him workout, practice, etc. Stupid coaches.

an incentive laden contract is pretty worthless to a guy that touches the ball maybe 5-8 times a game.

I said the same thing. I'd like to keep Bush but giving him a salary of like 2-3m a year. With major incentives jumping his contract way up based on performance. Perhaps pushing his contract anywhere from 2 to 8m based on performance.
