I call BS on his heart being in college football. He had 2 average to below average seasons in Miami. He also picked the wrong QB in Free Agency in Culpepper. NS is no dummy. He knew he would have 1-2 more years to turn it around. Due to this QB selection decision, he understood this wasn't going to happen. He got out before he got axed by Miami.

Like him or not, the fact is he is a complete failure at the pro level, and a incredibly successful coach on the NCAA level; which is why I don't get the respect he gets from NFL teams currently either.
