past Saturday @ 2.59 but those prices are probably different now.

shame isn't it... It's just the farmers controlling the market.

I had friends in Austin getting them cheaper than us a month ago.

Try Berthelots in Brusly. They were $2.15 on Good Friday.

Puleez! Believe me, the farmers DO NOT set the prices. Conversely, they are always THE ONES getting screwed.
