After reading what they said about Les it sure seems like CFN hated to put him in the top 10.

Not legit after one season of head coaching imo also. He may prove me wrong down the road but until then undeserving.

CFN puts out stupid articles. Who you would want is any coach that has a national title. No coach has won more than 1 title at the same school proving it's easier to build it than it is to maintain it. To me that makes Les's title more impressive. The fact that any coach without a title made it over Les is a freaking joke and give this report no credibility.

Yet the media continues to give Saban a hummer, who was outcoached by Les last yr and would be 1-3 against les if our coach who actually possesses values didn't kick Perriloux off the team in 08. Saban hasn't proven he can maintain his success yet, making him no different than any other title winning coach to me.

That's a bullshite list. CLM will keep laughing all the way to retirement. When he wins another this year or the next, I hope he refuses to grant interviews to these bastards.

I do not like Saban, never have, even when he was here, but come on this is a little far fetched:

He has been successful everywhere he has been in the college ranks, as a head coach, pro not so much.

He has proven enough to me that he can coach my football team anytime.

These things don't matter all that much, but it's still nice to see Miles getting the respect he deserves, rather than being ranked somewhere outside the Top 25.

I'm surprised at Stoops & Fisher at #2 & #3 by the way.

I'd move a couple things around on that list but about where I'd put Miles too. Jimbo wouldn't be in my top 10 after one season...

Tduecen. Are you retarded? How exactly has Saban maintained success. So far, he has 7 losses in years after his initial title at both lsu and bama. If you have the ability to comprehend english, I said he is no different. All he has proven is he can build a program, not maintain it. He's never been anywhere long enough. Again 7 losses in the year after and could easily lose 3 again this year with the issues on offense. Please check with your brain before posting stupid things.

You do realize Saban was at Michigan State 5 years and LSU 5 years, last year made Les's 6th year at LSU, at Oklahoma State he was there 4 years.... So Les has coaches at 1 school 1 year longer than Saban has coached at 2 different schools. Saban is also going into his 5th season at Alabama looking to win 10+ games for the 4th consecutive year. (btw just for reference, Les hasn't done that, Les has 3 straight 10+ win seasons, same as Nick currently)

So 2 titles and 7 total losses after 2 titles... Les 1 title and 5 losses after that title.... hmmmmm

The key word is maintain. I never said he doesn't have success. Again, I said maintain. The point is he's never been anywhere lOng enough with a target on his back like every year of les miles tenure. Look at tressell, stoops, Mack brown, etc. They are still trying to win a 2nd title at the same school with a target on their back. He's not on another level like the media makes him be but is certainly a great coach and master builder. It's a lot tougher to maintain success.

You do realize every where he has been he has had a target on his back I would hope. It comes with the previous success... He has had a target on his back since his second season in Alabama, he had a target on his back after his second year at LSU.

10+ games for

Welcome to 2011 tool. The new benchmark is 11 win seasons. Les has 4 in 6. For the guy your giving a hummer, he would have to win 11 the next 2 season. That won't happen. The 08 season for les makes my point. It's a lot easier to build than maintain. Win 2 at one school and then I'll say you are that much better than anyone else. Im not saying he can't coach. But I do question the hummers he gets from the media and losers like you. If hes so great and les isn't, why is les 2-2 against him. And if Perriloux was the QB in 08, Lsu would have blown bama away.
