Probably won't do this entirely....but it will keep the people away that just show up for a couple of hours and take up parking spots

That or they will just park further away crowding up the places I've been parking at for years without any problems.

I got a call last week asking me to donate the same amount that I have given to LSU in the past years. I told them that I would be glad to send in the same less the $500 to $600 that I was now going to have to pay to park and bring my trailer to tailgate for games. The young lady was stunned and asked what was I talking about. I am sure that there will be others that will feel the same.
BTW, that was the general fund, I also give to the business school fund.

I thought you will only have to pay for parking if you are trying to park on campus. In my experience, the people who only show up for a couple of hours usually show up later in the afternoon when campus parking is unavailable.
Won't they still be able to park in the same spots by the lake or mellow mushroom, etc?

I've been tailgating in the same spot for close to 20 years and I'm not the only one. I'm Glad they are generating funds this way, I also think it will keep the beer ponging nomads away, which is wonderful news.

Welcome to the discussion from two months ago.
I promise, you go out to the campus for any normal game weekend, and you will not see any "problems" with tailgating. It will be as good as ever.

I'm not concerned and I think my tailgating experience will actually be much better now.
