He'll be the 3rd WR when the season starts.

There's a bit of confusion in this thread.

hope he is eligible by the fall

He and Anthony Johnson are the most college ready of any of the other recruits in this class IMO. I can definitely see JLandry making an immediate impact next year. I would not be shocked to see him as the 3rd or even 2nd WR by the end of next season.

that's what I like about him. he'll be amassing catches and downfield blocks from day 1.

downfield blocks
That's one of the main things I love about this kid. At the Under Armour game, he was praised by his coaches for his blocking ability and his want to hit someone. In HS, he played FS and LB on defense. He is clearly not afraid of contact.

My bold prediction: he will be top 2 in receiving yards on the team

But Miles never lets freshman play.

Where does he stand in terms of qualifying?
Posted on 4/19/11 at 11:33 am to tigerbait16
I hope he keeps amassing lots of yards and touchdowns

I hope he amasses the needed grades to qualify.
