2011 BCS Champion LSU Tigers.......best ever?

Has a nice ring to it, but one murderous schedule lies in the way. If the 2011 team finishes undefeated and wins the BCS title game, I think they go down as the best ever in the BCS era. To get through ORE, @STATE, @WVU, UF, @TENN, AU, @BAMA, @MISS, ARK, the SECCG, and then the BCSCG undefeated, what do you say?

When most people look at "best ever" college teams, they tend to look at how many people on that team panned out in the NFL. For this reason among many others, I'm not sure if anyone's ever gonna get the nod over '01 Miami.

It's a grueling schedule, and JJ will need to step up in a big way for us to go all the way. If not, Mett needs to come in and show JJ how to throw a football

I think we will certainly have the toughest road to a BCS title for any team I can recall.
But on pure talent, 2001 Miami knows no equal and might not any time soon.

way to early to be talking about this shite..this team is talented but a schedule like that and anyone in the country would only go 11-2 at best and thats a problem. Since 2 losses have a terrible chance at getting into the NC...and dont bring up 2007...do you realize how lucky that was? The 2009 Alabama team played I think ten bowl teams, may have been the most ever by a BCS champ.
