I consider myself a pretty big Hornets fan. I go the games when I can. I watch everygame on TV.
Bob & Gil make it hard to watch the CST broadcast. They have to be the two worst announcers in basketball.
My question is, will the new owner(assuming he keeps the team here) be able to hire new announcers, or is it a CST thing?

I actually don't mind Gil. I don't hate Bob but he's way too Leave it to Beaver for my taste. It's like a TV dad from the 50's is doing the game.

It's the way he says "bottom" after every single bucket.
The constant stupid jokes and fake laughs.
The need to call everybody by a nickname. What's wrong with calling the dude Quincy. Qpon? Really?

Anyone else notice that Bob usually invades Gil's personal space just a little too much. Lol. It's one of my pet peeved, I need my space and If I was Gil I might have had to smack Bob once or twice by now.

I like Gil for the most part. I met Bob at the Hornets practice in Lafayette, and he seems like a nice guy. But my big gripe about Bob (well I have two), is that he continues to call the action after a dead ball. And not like finishing he sentence that he had started before the whistle blew, I'm talking the whistle blows, and he continues to talk about what's going on, despite the fact that play stopped.
The other thing I'm not crazy about is how he's optomistic to the point where it's annoying. Like the Hornets could be down 25 with 3 minutes left, score and he'd say, "Just a few more stops and big buckets, and we're right back in!" No Bob, we're not.

They're not great but just watch the Cavs play by play guys and you'll think the Hornets had Marv Albert calling games. Cavs play by play man actually said Lebron learned the grass isn't always greener on the other side when the Cavs beat the Heat last week. Gil would never say something that retarded, his problem is he's too cheesy.

they're fricking awful and make me want to puke when watching games. its unbearable. gil's prep consists of scanning the opposing teams roster searching for cute jokes he can make using their names and bob is a fricking idiot. anyone who disagrees is no better than they ARE
