Some of you guys are so funny...but you refused to discuss the "core" of Thornton's impact on the Kings vs Landry's on the Hornet's.

Carl Landry's best play is driving to the hoop for a foul, if you have not seen now...you will later...when it is too late.

Duh. Thornton's going to light it up for the Kings because his minutes will not be effected by his ability to play team defense and he obviously got off on the wrong foot with Monty and that was never fixed. Westphal by comparison is treating him like a son because I think he sees someone that can balance out the 2 other divas on the roster that he has trouble managing.

On the other side of the equation, Landry is the type of blue collar player Monty loves and he's already paying big dividends my picking up West's slack. If we were starting Jason Smith instead of Carl Landry I'd have serious doubts about the Hornets making the playoffs. The way the team is playing with Landry I'm more concerned about moving ahead of Denver and into a bad match up than falling out of the playoffs.

It's called a win win trade. Kings may have won more but both teams got something they were looking for and gave up someone valuable that they weren't using properly to get it.
