as well as the subjectiveness in playoff formula. Do you think the NFL champion would be different most of the years if there were only 8 teams every year, or if they increased it to 16. What the frick makes 12 the magical number where we obtain the "truth" of a champion. frick all that noise, 2 team playoff is the shitz.

Sports to me are purely for entertainment value. IMO an 8 team playoff would not reduce the importance of the regular season very much at all, would leave the left out teams a little less reason to bitch, and would make for an insane amount of entertainment the last month.
