Amite River Hunting Retriever Club spring hunt test

For those intersted in the retriever games there will be a hunt test in Jackson La, near Dixon Correctional facility. There will be signs posted directing to headquarters, which is on Creekfield road off hwy 10 in down town Jackson. You can get a map at headquarts which will direct you to each test sight. There will be Started, Seasoned, and Finished levels of tests going on all weekend so you can see what each has to offer. There will be many finished dogs there running the Grand in a few weeks, so you can see the best of what the breed has to offer.Here is the link for a map for directions.LINK

Bayou cancled theirs. Not enough participation and had to get birds all the way from Missouri!

Yes. Past VP. I think Pam Flotte is the one you need to speek to. Her e-mail is on the web at www.arhrc.org Mark Evans is the Pres and I know he will look into it for you as well. His e-mail on the web sight also.

The Grand was held there last year. Not sure if they will be using same places but highly doubtful. My father in law is treasurer of the ARHC.

2 for 2 on "finished" passes. I need two more passes and my pup wil have her Hunting Retriever champion title.(HRCH) My goal has been to achieve that title before she turns two years of age. She is 20 months old now.

Good for yall and congradulations. The club had a good showing this weekend putting on an outstanding event. I saw lots of good dog work. Enjoyed good food, and saw old friends. Next stop; Grenada

my mother went 2 for 4 with two of our dogs. Got her first finished pass with Dixie--she had done all the training herself

No. HRC clubs usually don't post the results. Maybe it will be added to huntsecretary.com one day. It would be a nice feature though.
