That’s what separates the elite teams from the rest of the top 25. After watching the Cotton Bowl that’s what stood out most to me, not only the depth yall have but the athleticism and talent in that depth.

If a kid is scared of competition he doesn’t become a 5*.

Dude looks like a beast.

Wrong comparison I'd say. Berry was a physical corner safety not afraid of contact. LC is more so a Roy Willams or John Lynch physical. When he commits will almost certainly convert to a 3-4 front. Look at the starters. DE- EGO DE- Freak DT- Mick Johnson OLB/DE Rasco OLB-Mingo SS- L.Collins FS Reid/ Loston CB-Pick your poison, pref not #7(he's mean)! In the words of the late Marquis Hill "get ya pop corn"! Future looks very bright for LSU

Apex Tiger you have never seen Collins play otherwise you wouldn't have posted this. I have seen this kid out play Eric Reid when he was a sophomore and Reid was a senior. I saw this kid play all last year. This kid is a freak. He is strong, fast, and just nasty. As soon as he gets on campus I think he starts as a freshman like Laron Landry. I would take him over Eric Reid right now. He is a better football player than Reid.

That's saying a lot.

But if that's true, it may say even more about Dhaquille Williams who seemed to get the best of Landon in those one-on-one camp drills I saw on Scout.

D. Will was the T.O of prep football. So if he he lost some battles to him. I say what the heck. There not much you can do about that. I would take LC over any other safety in the country. You don't get a kid of that caliber every year.

NFL player comparison: Eric Berry, Kansas City Chiefs

I hope this proves remotely true.

only if he plays for LSU.

if he goes to USCw, he needs to marry a hollywood starlet and be featured on her made for TV show about women with hot men on a leash.

Here's to hoping Landon is mature enough to represent the broader community that has supported him his whole life. I think he will be and will be a great one for the Tigers.

Spoke with a couple of Dtown players the other night and THEY said he was a slight bama lean. Take that for what its worth. They also said bama hasn't officially offered him yet. I found that interesting. There are rumors of LC playing some running back next year for Dtown since there aren't any big time backs for once in a long time so it will be interesting. This is just what I have heard, take from this what you will.

Landon is LSU. My family is from Dutchtown and 3 cousins attend the school and know him. One of my uncle and aunt's live next door to the Reids. He and Eric Reid are virtually inseparable. He's LSU in the end. To believe Bama hasn't offered either is absurd. Trust me, Bama would take his commit yesterday...

Every Alabama source I know of lists his offer coming last year.

Not gonna argue one way or the other. Just letting u know what I was told. I know the Reid's pretty good. Coached all 3 of their boys. The youngest has a leg for football, don't know if he will play any longer he is a big time soccer kid.

Brandon Taylor will be starting at one safety spot and he's a senior, so he gets to compete for major playing time right away.

Will be an amazing safety trio we have with Reid, Loston and Collins.
