Of the nine games on tonight's slate, six of them feature matchups with teams separated by at least 10 points in the standings. We call these "must wins". The three close games?
Leafs at Isles: must win for the Leafs slim playoff hopes
Bruins at Habs: rivalry game, B's have a chance to take first place in the East
Preds at Sharks: sitting at opposite poles of the playoff glut. The Preds are barely hanging in and the Sharks are barely ahead of the pack

I'm reversing your Bruins-Habs pick. Take the Habs 3-2 in OT. I think being at home makes the difference in this one.

As a Stars fan I guess I want the Preds to lose to increase the gap.
If the Stars keep winning they won't have to worry about the rest; and with a 7 game home stand it is time to seal their playoff spot.
