Destin Fishing this Friday 3/11

Does anyone know what the conditions will be like in Destin this Friday for offshore fishing? I have a group going down for some party boat fishing and hanging out and know it's been windy lately.
Will it be a rough ride? We'll be out there for the socializing as much as the fishing so I'm hoping it will be a fairly smooth trip. Any info is appreciated.

Friday...North winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest around 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet subsiding to around 2 feet late in the afternoon. Bays and coastal waterways choppy to rough becoming smooth to a light chop late in the afternoon.

I'll see if I can call some buddies down there who live and fish there. Will report if I hear back from them.

Thanks for the info. We'll be down for a bachelor party so it was something to do but also more of a comradarie trip instead of top notch fishing.
If it's going to be a bumpy 6 hour boat ride we may want to reconsider.

Well as anyone here can tell you forecast can change very quickly, but i would be leaning towards plan B if I were you guys.
You may want to thank Mother Nature for keeping you off that "Party Boat" anyways.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

I'd go with something else if that doesn't change. That's the thing with fishing offshore, it's hard to plan a trip more than a few days in advance.....especially in the spring.

Party Boat fishing isn't my first choice but we didn't want to shell out a couple thousand for a private trip.
Now thinking of a good plan B.

Strippers and blow is always a good plan B.

It seems the weather looks a slight bit better. May just hope it works out and stick with originial plan.
