I'm all for benching CP

For me, he's either not healthy and needs rest or is not putting out the effort and his arse should be embarassed and benched, reduce his minutes to backup role.
His current play will not prevent us from trying to win at this time. Maybe he comes back better, motivated, or healthier... who knows, don't fricking care to be honest.

won't happen. monty is already playing him too much down the stretch in games that are over already all the time....but i agree, he needs the rest and its becoming more and more apparent

He shouldn't have been in at the end vs. Toronto. Monty won't bench him though, it took him a few months to bench Belinelli, and there weren't superstar player politics involved with Marco.

why not put Jack at point guard and chris at shooting guard and tell him to earn his money

This team can't win without CP. Hence the reason the team looks like crap right now.

Hornets playing like crap cause CP is starting.

Let's take it one step farther, trade him in the offseason then have someone beat his knees in with a baseball bat after the trade goes through.

Nope, hornets playing like crap because CP isn't himself. If he sits, the Hornets still lose. This team has no other legit all star caliber players besides DWest. Hornets are screwed either way right now with CP. He has to play at a high level for the Hornets to be relevant.

wrong. If jack is playing at a good enough level like he has been, the supporting cast of this team can hold their own. This team has won without cp being superstar much of season.

That is a HUGE "if".
The NBA is superstar driven. If you don't see that, then I'm not sure what you're watching. Not trying to sound harsh, but just look at Cle, Mia and now NYK. Also see Boston and Lakers over past 5-10 years.

Jack has had quality production with limited minutes over past 9 games or so.

Yeah, but his best/most efficient year was last year in Toronto. 11.5 ppg and 5 apg in 27 minutes on 48% FG and 41% 3P. Those are decent numbers but I don't see him doing much better than that.

I am as frustrated as anyone trust me but benching CP3 ain't gonna help anything. Made a bad trade and will have to live with it, benching a All Star isn't a option right now

It wasn't jsut CP3, i didn't see much effort from anyone...defense and rebounding was horrible, don't kno what the deal is right now...hoefully jsut a bump in the road

Chris Paul is a baby back bitch.
Trade him. In the off-season.

chris paul had 10 assist 4 rebounds 2 steals and 1 block, and if you actually watched the game you would have so that he was hustling, the whoel team didnt play D or rebound

If he's hurt and trying to play and doing that bad, Monty needs to grow a sack and bench him.
