Does anybody know some new things that will be added on the show?

I hope they made the way u sign your contracts on the road to the show a little easier
No shite... I was with the dodgers and after spending 3 years in the minors, and then blowing up in the majors and getting knocked out of the playoffs 3 years in a row, I turned down like a 9 million dollar extension to test free agency and wasn't offered by anyone. Just sat the next season and got aggravated and retired

Really thinking about getting this. I've never owned a game on PS3 other than the NCAA Football franchise, but I've played the show at my buddies

Just read up on it on IGN.
You can use last year's controls or the new analog controls
For hitting, you have to pull the right analog stick back for the backswing then move it forward to hit the ball. You don't have to worry about ball height, only if the ball is on the inside or outside, which you can adjust your swing for by moving the stick in either direction.
Pitching is similar to hitting. Select a pitch the same way as last year, place the pitch the same way as last year, then pull back, push forward on the stick. Adjust inside or outside.
Fielding I believe you push the stick in the direction of whichever base you want to throw towards (Down: Home, Right: 1st, etc.). As you hold the stick in the direction, a meter fills up. The meter is red, yellow, and green. IF you release the stick in the green it gives a quick, hard throw. Yellow can be a slightly off target throw and a bit slower. Red is a bad throw.
One thing the article mentioned is there's no more random errors. All errors are completely player controlled due to bad throws or I guess not getting in front of a grounder.
Here's the article if you pretty much want to read what I just wrote. There is some other info about RTTS and graphics starting at the bottom of page one: LINK
After reading that article, I preordered the game from Amazon. Sounds like the game improved on everything I wanted it to.
Plus, next week is Spring Break.

I want them to fix the base running thing. Getting benched for stealing on a hit and run and other bullshite like that would make me so mad.

This! I can't tell you how many times I got benched for stealing and getting caught. At one point I had a 30+ game hitting streak going and the manager benched me.

Demo is available. Hitting is still impossible without the classic 1/4 thing on. Pitching is better and I like the analog swinging. The only issue I had was throwing. I didn't get a chance to try out the baserunning issues from the last game.

Did anyone else notice in 2010 that about 2 out of every 3 minor league pitchers was equipped with a knuckle ball and a 94+ mph 4 seam fast ball? 10 years into my career on the show and all these pitchers are in the majors. It's annoying as shite. I don't remember any knuckleballer being able to throw a 95+ fastball.

Hitting with the stick is a bitch
I like the new way to pitch though

The Target by my house had it out, stocked, and had it stickered, but still wouldn't sell it to me. Is there a way that I can get them to?
Posted on 3/2/11 at 4:12 pm to sgallo3
I'm wondering if I should get one of the managers involved next time I go up there or try and deal with the electronics person by themself
Posted on 3/2/11 at 4:12 pm to GeauxAggie972
don't get the manager for sure, he will know they can't sell it before the release date
Posted on 3/2/11 at 4:17 pm to sgallo3
I was gonna attack the integrity of the store and that they would be reported for having the game out early, even if they aren't selling it.
I worked at Target in high school, and the games/movies/music that came in before release would have numerous stickers on the box saying not to open until the Monday before release

i would just keep going at different times until you find someone that doesn't know they aren't supposed to sell it.
