Okay, educate me.
What in the hell do you want a crow for?

I had pet crows for about 5 or 6 years. They are badass and smart as shite. They would stick around until the fall and migrate out.
My dad would always have one of his patients find him one. The nests are pretty difficult to find, but he would always get them in pecan groves.

Great pets and some can talk.

Supposedly they are smart enough to spot hunters and stay just outside of shotgun range at all times once a few die.

The guy who would catch them for us had a pet coon and pet squirrel that were by far the coolest.
The coon acted like a dog and would play fetch all day and want you to rub it's stomach.
The squirrel would run up to you and climb up on your shoulders and I'd feed it sun flower seeds, pretty cool stuff.
My dad is a falconer, so he wanted to get a crow to see what it would be like. Very smart and hung around the house all day fricking with the dogs.

I think having a raccoon would be sweet. They're super smart. Hide your shiny stuff though
Did he have it house trained?

I would chop it up and feed it to song birds in front of a murder of crows.

Pet fox > pet crow. Just saw the "bear guy" who got eaten by, you guessed it, a bear; and he had a pet fox. How fricking cool is that?!

A pet fox would be pretty damn cool. A pet otter would be badass also.
I know a guy who had a baby coon. Lil fricker was cool but it bit the shite outta my buddy one day because he was outside eating crackers and wouldn't give any to the coon. Ended in the use of a .22 bullet...

I have a friend who raised a couple baby coons and I got to hold one of those little things. Awesome when they are little but get aggressive when they get some balls.
The fox was following the guy just like a dog. I thought, how awesome would it be to say to someone I met, yea, "I have a pet fox"

There is a trapper in Tenn that had a pet coyote. It didn't make that good of a pet because he had kids but the damn thing would steal his shoes and run for hours if it knew you wanted it. There was also a guy that had a Lynx as a pet he had it declawed but it could still whip any dog. It was very smart!
