his put-back was probably the biggest basket of the game.

He played within himself tonight, and he had a pretty good game.

Maybe he finally realized what his role is...

Maybe, but I've thought that so many times with him. I can guarantee he'll still have that game where he gets 4 fouls and 4 points and 4 turnovers. And the whole time you are asking yourself what the hell he is thinking

He's had a couple of other games like that this year...he's just very limited so it's not gonna happen alot.

But he hustles his arse off. His put-backs were all a result of someone driving and drawing his defender (usually Turner) and he hustled to the goal.

I agree he always hustles and takes advantage of opportunities just makes some dumb decisions some games. The thing is he is consistent all game, the problem is it is normally consistently bad or mediocre.

Green has definitely improved this year. One of the few bright spots

He's really the only guy on the team that has progressed since coming here. He's developed into a decent big guy. I'm not including the Freshmen.

After watching most of the second half last night one of the most glaring problems I saw was Lsu's inability to make jump shots

Horrible shooting team

They shot well in the first half, but he's right. They aren't a good shooting team, or at least they haven't been this year for the most part, and it doesn't help that the post play and rebounding is horrific. This year is good for the freshmen though, and that experience will help, along with a couple of new big guys next year. Hopefully we will win a few more games.

I know Bass isn't the best PG in the world, but for some reason when he was playing in the first half, we got those open looks. Also, Malcom White didn't really play in the 2nd half, and I thought Storm and Green did well rebounding and defending. Other than the good shooting in the first half, I'd have to say Bass, Green, and Storm were the key in the win. White can't rebound worth a crap!

I actually think we are a decent jump shooting teams. We just don't get open looks because we have no one to really drive except Dotson

Dotson reminds me of Jordan Jefferson. He's just out there...
He rarely has a good game. Good job last night though.

I hear you. I can't really figure out why coach thinks he's so valuable. He does have a decent Jump shot, and he can dunk, but we need some rebounding/catching out of his ace! Speaking of can't catch > LUDWIG. I finally saw why we have him...Free throws!

caught the rebound after MSU missed the game-tying attempt last night.

also gives a lot of effort "high motor kid" and rebounds A LOT better than white

I want him to do well, but it seems like he's dropping balls, getting swatted, or lost most of the time. I think he's a good high school player, but too damn slow for the SEC. I think D-becker is speeding his game up a bit though...

You've got to have role players and I have no problem with Ludwig. He can come in an back up players at the 3-4-5. He makes free throws. Pretty good passer. Check out the rosters of even the top schools and they've all got players like this.
