A friend of mine, who deals with LSU and Saints players on a fairly regular basis, was at the recruiting bash talking with TT and told me that TT said LSU would be stupid of they didn't start Mett next season.
He has been working with him while he prepares for the combine. Said he puts the ball right where it needs to be and that he has a cannon.
Also said that he told Miles 14 times last season that he was just "giving" JJ the ball and that he hadn't earned it.
Take it fwiw, I believe everything my guy tells me when it comes to this stuff.

Miles isn't going to sit a senior two year-starter at QB for 1st year Soph in the program.

Tyrann Tharold Reid & Sam are all on the other side of the ball. Chavis got total control of the Defense after 2009. He required it with his raise.
