The ending gives us a pretty good lead on the direction of the show.
My theory as of now is this:
Ted meets his wife at Barney's wedding
Barney marries Nora, the girl he is chasing now
The show doesn't last too much longer

Yeah, but you never know because they drag on things a little longer than needed. The show can't last much longer while maintaing some originality and creativity.
I often find Ted to get very annoying at times, but the rest of the characters I love.

going to be Robin's wedding IMO.
They already mentioned once this season that instead of a Maid of Honor she would want Ted to be her best man
