i get that our o is shite and doesn't do shite to draw fouls but still 6 free throws is even low for us.
i admit i didn't watch all of this game but even knowing how our offense is run 6 is just an insane low number esp at home.
He's my two cents as an opposing fan:
1. LSU shot mostly contested jump shots. Not going to get to the line often that way.
2. Florida is actually statistically the best team in the nation at not fouling or sending their opponent to the FT line.

It could work I guess if we subbed properly. The problem with pressing is teams can get easy baskets when they break it. I'm not opposed to the press, but I don't want to give up to many easy baskets. It does create energy when it works though.

it creates energy and also easy baskets for us. im willing to give up some easy baskets if it keeps us in games.
the only team i dont think it would really work well against is uk and that is just because we dont have the athletes to press them. everyone else it should work on if the sub pattern is right and we throw it at them and then back off and then throw it again.
hell maybe even mix in some half court trap

If Stringer and Ralston drove the basket to draw fouls, then we would shoot free throws, especially late in the game.
With no one driving the lane, we will seldom have someone shooting free throws.

Not with how LSU plays. I can't believe LSU got 6.

I think this team really sucks!! I have never seen so many guys standing around waiting for something to happen!
They are like NO other Tiger team I have witnessed!

If you think I am happy about LSU ever losing in any sport your nuts. I call it like I see it and TJ only signing ONE legit player in three years is the reason we are in this boat. We pay this guy 1.5 million dollars for this abortion of a basketball team. This is truly embarassing for our states flagship university to put a product like this on the floor. I just think he is the wrong guy for this job, and the people on this board continue to be excited about moral victories. We lost again to a team without one of their best players, what does that tell you. The problem I have with this is the rest of the teams are mostly young like us and they will improve next year with 3 or 4 good freshmen, we have one. They also have recruiting classes coming in that are ranked higher than ours. His evaluation of talent up to this point is a joke. Ralston Turner is a really good player, the rest of our players are projects and role players at best. So here we are hoping next year our team wins a few more games in this guys fourth year. We are all hoping a true freshman will be the next "help is on the way guy". So we are suppose to be excited about a team that next years recruiting class is not even in the top 25 and one legit player up to this point, in what will be tj's 4rth year.

+1 amen brother. LSU just standing around "waiting" for something to happen, is all on the head coach.
Too bad LSU and many here on this board, put a knife in Brady's back. He was the man for the job - and did damn well considering how much trouble he took.
