Yeah, I think that might be b/c he's a "late bloomer" and wasn't in the camps over the summer and what not, but you're right, somebody needs to get that hype machine going.

I think that is most likely the biggest thing holding him down, not having a lot of PR and also the stereotype that he's just another little white player.
I do see that he made the State All Star Game, so somebody must be noticing how dominant he's been this year.
I also agree that LSU needs somebody that can score and distribute the ball, but from what I've seen the majority of his points come from inside the lane, which is precisely what LSU needs; somebody that can get into the lane and score, shoot free throws well, and knock down a lot of three's.
Obviously I don't know a lot about recruiting but I think the original point for the poster was that its illogical for some kid who is going off and could conceivably be leading the state in scoring can't get a look from the coaches at his feeder school who are in the midst of their worst offensive season in history.
