When is the best time of year for an inshore charter?

Im going to be booking a charter and bringing my girlfriend and her mom. I'm thinking numbers would be better than size for these rookies. Also, any good guides I should consider? Thanks

Since you're in Lafayette the best time of the year for Big Lake is the fall and Hackberry Rod & Gun is pretty good.
