Ryan McCrystal ranks #6 out of all mocks for the past 5 year average

take a look

24. Mike LeShoure RB Ill
It's a shame Illinois wasn't better this season, because a lot of people missed out on some impressive performance by LeShoure. He is built like a true feature back, with the size and strength to be a workhorse at the next level. I think by the time the combine is over he will have overtaken Mark Ingram as the consensus No. 1 running back in this year's class. He comes with some off-field concerns, but I think the Saints are in position to take a risk on someone like that in the late 1st round.

56. Bruce Carter LB N. Caro

I like the Bruce Carter pick, but I just can't see them taking LeShoure over Ingram if he's available.
Also Marcell Dareus ain't a DE

Prolly the case for most everyone. Stranger things have happened though. After the Colstons, Grahams, Evans, and Morstead type picks I don't think they'll be much complaint over whoever they go with though.

I dont like that draft, another tiger goes to buffalo to have his career killed before getting started.

I hope Peterson goes somewhere, buffalo sucks.

In a 4-3, he is a DT. In a 3-4, which he played at Bama, he is a DE

I've got 2 words for ya: injury history

One has it, the other doesn't. LeShoure makes sense to me in that regard.

LeShoure had injuries in his Senior year of high school and in his freshman year at Ill. Missed 2 games his Sophmore year too. He was a one year wonder so the questions should be there.

Look at his stats against the good teams they played this year. Mainly Mich St. and Ohio St. bc those are the only 2 teams that had a legit defense.

I could be wrong but I don't think Ingram has had consistent injury problems.

I don't think ingram's history would scare the saints away. They pursued Beanie Wells at the bottom of r1 and his injury background was much more extensive than ingram.
