They've been trying to dump him off and on all year with no takers, if they trade Melo and go into rebuild mode you can probably get him cheap. Banks alone wouldn't do it because his contract doesn't match up. Banks and Belinelli might. We already have a glut at SG so someone would have to go if you brought Smith in and I'd rather move Belinelli for Smith than Thornton. It'd probably be something like Banks/Beli for Smith/Balkman.

I would do Banks/Belli for Smith/Balkman in a heartbeat....JR may be a headcase, but he brings athleticism that Belli doesnt.....and while he may take some ill-advised shots, when he gets rolling he can light it up from anywhere....i also think Balkman can be servicable
