for the driveman it's ben roethlisberger. both huge guys with rocket arms and do nothing but win. they also HAVE the same short two word nickname "The Mett" and "big ben" and have "burgur" as a key ingredient of their last name. they also came from small time places to become bigtime players at higher profile places

Please tell me we don't have another QB with little pocket presence.

Bite young tongue!

I just hope the guy is all those who have never seen him play a BCS/SEC game champion him to be.

Its been awhile since LSU had an ALL-SEC QB, but with the talent at QB on the LSU rooster now...I kinda think our time is a coming.

Mett is to thick to be considered with Mallets or Flacco's skinny arse. He is a combination of Big Ben and Tom Brady. He is more mobile then Brady but not as hard to tackle as Big Ben. The kid can make every throw on the field with plenty of zip on it and I am excited to see him take over the reigns.

He can be a combination of Cam Newton, Sam Bradford, and Matt Ryan.....it won't matter. CLM will start and play JJ at least for the first few games (and maybe longer) unless something catastrophic happens. Anyone who thinks differently is either delusional or has been sleeping the last three football seasons. By the way, this is not directed toward bashing Miles. Admittedly, I am not a Miles fan, but I love LSU. I would pull for Tonya Harding as Tigers' QB if it would help us win.

So you think that if JJ plays like he did in week 3,4,5,6, and 7 he will still be starting? Not trying to stir up shite it is an honest question. Although we were getting it done it was hardly in part of JJ efforts yet he still got the start. If JJ is playing like that next year I would bet money that Mett plays. I would have bet money that Zach Lee would have got some reps last year if he were here the way things were going. I have seen Mett play, I know the dude and why he came to LSU, and if the first few games are anything like last year. Be prepared to see Mett real soon, if not week 1.
