Hated him ever since he dissed USC for Cal in the 11th hour (ala Joe McKnight did to LSU).
He gets a pass on this very commendable act though.

It'd be nice if DJ and two Philly linemen were given a free pass to kick the shite out of those "bullies" (in quotes because what they did is way beyond bullying).

I never liked his demeanor on the field but he really surprised me with this. I think he genuinely wanted to make the kid happy.
