I saw a teenager wearing an "LSU 2003 National Champions" T-shirt in the Galapagos a few months after the game. I gave him a "Geaux Tigers!". He looked at me like I was crazy and then said "dude, it's just some shirt somebody gave me". 
Interestingly, the next year we saw 2 "Oklahoma 2003 National Champions" T-shirts in Coast Rica on very poor people. At least they don't throw the shirts away, they just donate them far from America.

On a path at a rainforest park near Cairns, Australia, I had on an LSU t-shirt and coming toward me was a woman with an LSU t-shirt on. Both of us got very big eyed and yelled at the same time GEAUX TIGERS!! Stopped and chatted with her for almost 45 minutes. She was at LSU just before I was and had some mutual friends.

In amsterdam...from a dude with a gator shirt on....I had an lsu shirt. We got HI together and he told me his life was a total farce....that his parents would never understand if he came out.My bung hole puckered and I jumped on my bike and pedaled like lance.
