A call to repentance!!! Turn your post into a more positive nature

about our new OC coach- Steve Kragthorpe.
The coaching board has become the Rant of 2008-2009...filled with a bunch of negativity. Oh look, we won 11 games and suddenly, things are different.. Hmmmmm
"I can't get excited about this hire, UF got Weiss, blah blah"... We sound like a bunch of shallow fans that don't know much about football.
If you can't find some positive things to say about this damn strong football coach, then maybe it's best you just not post anything relative to this hire?

I'm not going to be negative, but I'm damn sure not going to run around shooting rainbows out my dick over it. If he proves himself, I'll consider it a solid hire. Time will tell.

Whether people are positive or not is pointless. This hire is gonna be whatever LSU shows on the field. If they don't win the West again and the offensive production contributed to that then fans will gripe and rightly so. If they go back to Atlanta and the offense will have to improve slightly for this to happen then people will be more positive and rightly so.

The point is we don't know what will happen. In the meantime can start with some positive energy?

There are governments that only allow positive and "approved" things to be said about them. They are called Communists.
If you want to focus on nothing but the positive, then that's you're right. But other people also have the right to bring up and discuss things that might not be as positive.
Th truth is not always positive. Telling people to only speak positive is the same as denying the truth.
I'm not advocating bitching, but I am saying that there's nothing wrong with looking at all sides of an issue, including the ugly ones.
I hope Kragthorpe turns out to be a great OC at LSU. As a HC he's been very successful at Tulsa and very unsuccessful at Louisville. We'll see how he works at LSU as the OC.
He's definately got talent to work with.

I agree 100%!
BUT!!!! We have only been hearing the complaining and negativity part...thus my point! At least attempt to look at the reasons why Miles made this hire, even if you are just wanting to be a negative person..
