Just deal with it losers. Kragthorpe was a good, safe hire just like Chavis.

Hopefully he'll use ALL of our talent and bring some sense of identity along with him. And if this crazy mo'fo puts mousetraps in the locker room I'll love him a little more.

My favorite comment in that link is the one about Krag not getting recruits at Louisville. Someone should tell them we're no Louisville but we somehow manage to keep getting recruits. We'll be ok.

I think it's hilarious that they think an offensive coordinator can run LSU into the ground. Hell Crowton tried his best and still couldn't do it! To think that LSU and Louisville are on the same level is just plain stupid.

What do they have against Cooper? I thought he was understood to be a top flight secondary coach.

Not even close. Crowton's offense was bipolar at best. We NEVER were very good at ONE thing. Remember the Tennessee debacle? That was Crowton trying to run 4 WRs on with the fricking clock running. He admitted that. He tried to do give too many different looks instead of going with what was working.

Mt fav was the attack on Cooper who has proven to be a very good DB coach both here and at USCw.............shows how much they know about football.

LSU---->The place former UofL coaches go to shine!!!

(not sure if I like that)

Agreed. Chavis had 15 years experience calling Defense in the SEC. He had developed some very good defenses.........he has the skillset, the players need to be there.

As long as we have an identity on offense and as long as he is able to adapt the offense to the talent on hand each year then we will be fine.

did you just try and compare a guy who coached in the SEC for 15 years with great success to someone that was an average coach at best in conference USA?

LOL

cooper is a bad coach? we had 4 freshman DB out there at times in the cotton bowl and they all looked good. all 3 of them had picks and one of them had a fumble as well as his pick. yep, terrible DB coach
