2009 steelers losses (since that guy thinks they lose just by not having polamalu)

13-6 browns
17-14 bears
23-10 bengals(divsion winning bengals)
18-12 bengals
27-24 chiefs
20-17 ravens
27-24 raiders

in those losses they surrendered 20 points per game...not very good...not what i would call shitty

in these losses they only scored 15 points per game...shitty

what was the real problem in these losses?

he makes a difference, but yeah...coincidence...see you have not addressed the stats yet, huh?

what else happened in those games, who else was injured, who were you playing, how did the offense perform...until you can provide some kind of detailed analysis...coincidence...

the argument is who is better and by the efficient stats and the career stats i have posted...ed reed is the better player...that's the point...peace

Ed Reed missed 6 games and still had 1 more INT than Troy

and he is 3 years older.

I'm now convinced you really are a fricking idiot. Where did I said not having Troy is the sole reason? I said it was amazing the defensive struggles and how much more we lose when he doesn't play. Never he said we lose JUST by not having TP. Your reading comprehension skills suck arse.

In terms of historical Steelers defense, yes that is shitty.

you can keep calling me names, it proves how wrong you know you are that you've resorted to that.

I haven't addressed the stats because you are a fricking idiot. I already said Reed was better against the pass. All I was simply doing was showing SFP that Reed isn't close in terms of tackles.

I'll always argue Polamalu is better. Dude shows up more in big games than Reed, makes more game changing plays, and is versatile as frick. It's a subjective debate and I'm done because all you're doing is beating a dead horse.

No it doesn't, it just proves you keep debating and pushing out stats where I've already admitted Reed was superior to Polamalu at.

all I was simply doing is showing you why that's wrong and who the better player is.

and reed has an even greater edge in PDs and INTs than TP has in solo tackles, correct?

The defense kept blowing fourth-quarter leads.

the stats show that his edge in rate of pass disruptions exceeds TP's edge in rate of tackles (esp solo tackles)

this is one of the most ridiculous questions ever asked on this website

Drama queen, you are the definition of ridiculous as far as this website is concerned. Your existence is an utterly superficial waste of time. Look into it.

if you were to line either up at CB, which would you choose? OOOOOH, OWNED
You're not really that fricking stupid, are you?
Apparently, my attempt to illustrate how he is a better all-around defensive football player fell on dim, befuddled ears, ears that are really average but want to convince themselves and others that they are more. Good luck. You'll need it.

He's far more versatile. (There. I spelled it out for you. Didn't think I'd have to. Very informative). He can and has played a variety of positions, an extreme rarity in today's NFL. And aside from YouTube videos that apparently don't exist, according to you, I have seen no argument that he sucks at pass coverage. No one is invincible, and I'm sure he's been beaten before, but I'd like to see proof of this poor pass coverage you're talking about.

And why are you still comparing an SS with a FS? However, fwiw, I think TP could play LB and FS better than Reed could play LB and SS. And as far as star value goes, I don't see Reed doing a lot of ads, even here in DC, right in his own back yard. I can't go one day without seeing an ad with TP. On top of that, TP is an absolute lock for the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Reed's stats are impressive, but I can't honestly say the same about him?

X-factor. Yes, there is such a thing.

Um, obviously I disagree. Question: if you were forced to line one of the two up at DE for an entire game, whose chances at success would you like better?

quote:

FS/CB =/= SS

So we can't compare Lott with Polamalu b/c FS/CB =/= SS, but Polamalu is better than Ed Reed because he would be better at DE.
