How can it look similar when crowton ran 1/2 spread and 1/2 Big 10 pro-style, more miles style??? It was obvious a mix of both coaching philosophy. Oddly enough it wasn't the run game that sucked (miles)! but crowtons spread passing game!

If this was true Les would have kept Crowton, since (as you say) Les had Crowton under his thumb.
