From a friend for $100, been out of the gaming world for about a year...Besides all the Call of Duty games and FPS's what have I missed

What do you like? Battlefield Bad Company 2 and the Vietnam expansion is a great game. Lots to do and dick around with. Medal of Honor has a good single player campaign and decent multiplayer. Operation Flashpoint is a hard game, but it's fun if you read a free guide to help you out.
If you like racing, there's F1 2010 and Forza. If you like football, there's really only the EA franchises.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops are staples.
ETA: Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV and Mafia II are really good RPG-type games (listed in order of awesomeness).
