Handicapped Seating/Parking @ Cowboys Stadium

My parents want to attend the Oregon v. LSU game at Cowboys Stadium next fall and I was wondering if any of you that went to the Cotton Bowl had any information on obtaining handicapped accessible seats and/or parking. My Dad is a season ticket holder and got an email about ordering tickets to the game. Thanks for any help.

Your best bet might be to try and work directly through the stadium ticket office if possible.
They would need to order accessible seats, or at least one and an adjacent seat. But make sure they don't sell you a wheelchair space unless thats what you need.
The stadiums brand new so they should have accessible seats spread throughout at various price points.
The parking should be good to, but don't expect it to be right at the gate you need to go into.

Thanks. I plan on calling LSU's ticket office tomorrow morning and see what they say. My mother is not in a wheelchair, but she has limited mobility because of back and neck problems and can't climb steps. I'll report back any findings to the board.

Just buy a parking pass for the lot you want. There are handicapped spots in each lot by the stadium, but you need a pass for that lot to get in.

I'm disabled (wheelchair) & went to the Cotton Bowl. The accommodations outstanding. I sat in section 447. I am sure there is disabled seating in each levels. I actually am a LSU football season ticket holder, so I just had to call the LSU ticket office to request disabled seating. If you purchase your tickets through the University I am sure you can do the same. I've never had a problem. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I called the LSU ticket office today and the lady told me to go ahead and put the order/request for tickets in the form and then when my dad gets a confirmation email to forward the email to tickets@lsu.edu with a request for accessible seating and an explanation of your particular needs for seating. She also confirmed that you can just purchase a parking pass from LSU and then when you get to Cowboys Stadium, just show your handicapped permit and you will be allowed to park in a handicapped spot in your alloted parking lot. That's basically exactly like I did & didn't have any problem whatsoever. Hope you enjoy your visit to the stadium.
