I would say prolly 1 1/2 yrs old. If you scroll to my kill on page one, that 8 i shot is probably 2 1/2 yr old.

Then this deer was big for his age then cuz it was pushing 130.
Thats a 90 hp Kubota in the background. I'm glad I culled him out of the herd. We will get some goofy looking spikes around here. LSU guy told me it was due to inbreeding in the herd.
I've got some pics of some nice swamp deer though.
How old would this one be then?

Updated with pics today
Most of us called him a 10 pt...16 3/4" inside spread...mass on this guy is unreal. If i recall 5.5" thick at the base and almost 6" thick at the curve. Heavy antlered deer like this just aren't seen where I hunt. Couldn't have imagined a better animal for my 1st buck - been waiting for the past 1.5 seasons for a shot at something like this and i finally got one! Still in the process of gathering pics from everyone but these are a few of the ones I like that show his rack from different angles. Oh yeah, I think he weighed in at 147lbs and not a drop of fat on him - he definitely hadn't been to the dinner table lately.
