I have to believe Miles would invite Chavis to come along, he certainly wouldn't retain whoever was calling the defense last season at UM.

nah, he'd probably try but Chavis would say no.
he'd then move on to Cooper, who's familiar with the area having been the HC at Eastern Mich (where Les knows him from) and who I'd imagine is dying to get back to being at least a DC.
