I just read where Petersen wouldn't even talk to Stanford about their vacancy. Not that I'm comparing Stanford to LSU at all - just wonder if that's a sign that he's waiting to see what happens with UM and Miles or does that mean he's content and staying put in Boise

That makes me a little nervous...I wasn't comfortable with him as a DC.

I thought the same thing but if you keep Chavis, those two minds could work well together and make up a sick defense.

Also, to add to the dream list, what about Bill Cowher? I remember a few years back that he mentioned he would be somewhat interested in the college game and I believe his daughter went to LSU. I am sure it has been mentioned before and i am dumb as any other rantard but this is a wish list right?

get real. please.

Urban meyer has health issues. If he was up to it, he'd still be at Florida.

John Gruden is not leaving ESPN for a college job.

Nick has no reason to switch.

Jack Del Rio is probably available, but why would you want him?
He has ZERO experience in recruiting for college ball.
Do you want someone learning the ropes while HC at LSU?
And his NFL success is minimal. He was a real good db/lb coach at Balt.
Fine.

Your second group is terrific and realistic.

Idk if your joking, but I wouldn't mind this. He would probably be able to recruit well, as he is a fiery guy and a Hall of Fame LB. However, I don't know how well he would handle college kids, he had a hard enough time with grown men. Maybe he'd awe players into silence with those bug eyes of his.
