Why is the assumption that Miles will go?

Just because Michigan now supposedly wants him. Why do we assume he will accept?

It's his alma mater and his dream job. It's more than speculation. If he goes, we'll be fine. But if he really is offered and the $$$ is there.. say your goodbyes.

b/c he could have squashed this whole deal after the game and said he'd be back. he didnt, so now everyone is speculating hes going to leave.

IT's his alma mater. He also coached there and they need someone to come put them on the right track again. I think his wife's family is from Michigan. If they get the money right, I can see him bailing, unless he enjoys this staff and players more than I think.

Please enlighten if you dont mind. Didnt hear the postgame interview on WWL. What did he say or didnt say that would lead one to believe that he is off to Michigan.

so I'm assume LSU isn't going to try to at least give him a counter offer - like contract extension, plus throw in some incentives that will easily raise his salary??

They would never interview him without knowing that he would take the job. It would be humiliating if he did not take the job something Michigan cannot have at this point in the search.

I just think he would be the dumbest arse clown we all said he was after the Tennessee game, if he leaves all of the talent we have returning. I can't see anyone being that stupid to leave for what Michigan has for the foreseeable future.
