Michigan will most likely have a coach within 24-36 hours. Fact that they haven't announced now could mean they are just hammering out details.

No way they go past the weekend without an announcement.

Mike Detillier said Michigan is fishing and Hoke will in the end be the next coach.

If he ends up the head coach, ugh. I'd have rather stuck with RR another year just to see what happened.

Hoke would be a great hire for UM.

Seriously.

Truth is, most LSU fans are hoping you'll take Miles off our hands. He fits better at Michigan. Not that we'll hire a better coach than Miles (I have zero faith in Alleva) but LSU fans are lukecold on Miles and it'd be best for all parties if he moved on.

But if UM is smart, they'd hire Hoke. He has a brighter future, IMO. Hiring Miles would be a safer play, but you have more upside potential with Hoke IMO.

I hope UM agrees with you and hires Miles.

The majority of LSU fans want you to take him back to his briar patch.

not try to speak for the majority of LSU fans. Speak for yourself is good enough.

This, plus the lack of mention of Les Miles as their candidate, and the UM jet being in BR all have a strong resemblance to Coach Miles going home to his Wolverines after the bowl game.

As Buddy Songy pointed out on the radio earlier today, you can bet that after the Tennessee game, the majority of LSU fans would have happily let Miles go.

Personally, I'm happy with Miles but I think the LSU fanbase never will be completely happy with him. He's a better fit at Michigan and will never totally fit at LSU unless he stays long enough to pwn Saban on a regular basis (odds of that?) or win another crystal football. Odds are he'll never measure up to Saban in most fans' eyes. I don't think most fans think he can sustain his current .500 record against Saban. As it is, it took 4th down miracles to get the job done this year. As any gambler knows, you got to know when to get the hell out of Dodge. Now would be an awesome time for Miles to go.
