Supposedly the three finalist sites are:
New York
Denver
Columbus
Will try to find a link; they are discussing it on the radio.

Denver. I might actually consider making the trip to this if the Avalanche were playing.

Would they play at the shoe if it's in Columbus? Or is there another alternative?

It would be at the Shoe definitely.
I would be there in a heart beat.

I can't wait for Jerry Jones to somehow get the Winter Classic to be played at his palace.

NHL has done a pisspoor job of marketing Nash as superstar...which he is.

Well to be fair, the CBJ hasn't done much to warrant him being marketed a a big time star. If we went to the playoffs every year, it would be different.

It'll never ever happen, but if they ever came down to like Dallas, or Atlanta, or Nashville, I'd definitely go, even though I'm a Red Wings fan. Provided LSU isn't playing that day, of course.

Football always comes first. I know that's hard to wrap your head around up north.

is this that big of a deal to hockey people?
Posted on 1/6/11 at 6:16 pm to Elleshoe
100,000 people watching a hockey game is a pretty fun concept imo.

IMO it needs to be somewhere that actually has a high probability of snowing on TV...it just looks so nice in HD

Meaning if the NHL ever decided to take the game down south, which I already noted, will never happen.
Good Lord....
