Shep is a HS legend in Texas, and that's saying something. Most who observed him playing against the best HS competition in America can't figure out the lack of touches. Talk about under-utilized.

We suffer from having 3 5*, #1 WRs on the field at the same time. The offense couldn't decide who should get the ball.... and didn't have QBs who could reliably get it to them.

36, 33, and 31 catches respectively for Toliver, Shepard, and Randle.

so they won the state championship? got to the semi-finals? the quarterfinals?

I understand it's Texas, maybe his high school wasn't the best, but he got to the third round of the playoffs.

Corey Webster had much better credentials than that, and he did it in 2 sports.
Brandon Jacobs got to the semifinals literally by himself.
shite even Trovon Reed got his team deep into the playoffs twice pretty much by himself.

What makes him a HS legend in Texas?

just to let you know I like Shepard and I agree he's under-utilized, but he's not Percy Harvin, that's like saying Jefferson is Tebow.

and i'll throw this fun one out. Tack Minor is probably more of a Texas legend. Didn't he score like 70 or 80 points in a game. I don't care how much you ball hogging, that's impressive. Just too bad he's an idiot.
